Heatbeds useable for panel adhesive?

I am not really into the iOpener and don’t own a heatgun, however i have a 3D printer.

Given that the average heatbed of a 3D printer can provide about 100-120c of heat, can it be used as an alternative to effectively heat the screen' or backpanel adhesive?

As long as you can disable the printer it will likely work, but you need to be careful about batteries - they can be tempermental and DON’T forgive heating errors.

It’s not a good option for AMOLED displays either - unless you’re replacing it and intend to destroy the display. It may even damage the layers of the LCD phones.

It would be better if you can change the temperature to 60º-70º. For me it is enough for most repairs with adhesive and I have never caused damage, as Nick says it is easy to damage delicate things.

@oscarsp 100-120c is too high for me to say yes without cautioning someone. Too much risk with batteries primarily.

The most I'd like to see if you can't go to 60-70 is 80. 90 is a stretch too far IMO.
