I made a incorrect edit of a guide, what should I do?

Hello! :D

I was looking for a guide that I could help to make better, but I got confused by one because there were so many weird things happening so I tried to change what I first thought was the problem.

After that I saw that it wasn’t, so I looked at it again and then saw that a prerequisite guide was really messed up so I fixed that one.

I think everything looks good when looking at the one I have updated but some of the old edits may be incorrect.

So my question is, should I do something or just let it be since the end result is correct?

All replacement guides for this device are affected: Nintendo_Wii_U_Pro_Controller

Hi there @eke0909

Thanks for posting on this forum and I apologize for the delay in response. Each guide has a minimum reputation requirement for any edits to fully appear on the website. Any edits that come from users who don’t meet the minimum reputation requirement end up in our Patrol system, where our content moderators review and approve/deny the edits.

It looks like your edits to this guide were approved by a moderator. If you believe that any information is incorrect on any guide, please feel free to correct it. However, you’re also more than welcome to leave it as is if you aren’t entirely sure if the information is correct/incorrect. iFixit is a collaborative and cooperative wiki and isn’t meant to discourage users from editing content.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll do my best to answer them. Thanks!

Happy fixing!
