is the plan to monopolize and / or monetize the repair manuals made by ifix-userbase or is intellectual property of the IFIX Corporation ?

Its about getting credit on the creation of the work. iFixit has a clear policy Content Licensing

There is no monetization of the guides since day one!

The only way IFixit makes money is thru parts. There are no ads, they dont charge any money for the guides, thats literally against the right to repair thing. Selling repair manuals and stuff would contradict the entirety of IFixits beliefs
