Thanks for your question!
The difference between these two products is the number of components that come with each repair solution. Each of these products have different product pages, so we suggest comparing the two depending on your repair needs.
Essentially, the “Screen” variant includes some extra components that are pre-installed. It is a repair solution geared towards someone who may not have ever performed a screen replacement before, and they just want to get their phone working around. Those extra included components are:
- Front Camera Assembly
- Earpiece Speaker
- LCD Shield Plate
The “LCD and Digitizer” is a higher quality display which is why it is more expensive, but it does not include the extra components listed above, so those components would need to be removed from your original screen and transferred to the new screen during the replacement process. This product is geared more towards repair shops who replace these screens for a living and are confident in swapping back in the original components. The steps to perform these component swaps is outlined in our replacement guide found here.
In our opinion, ordering and using the “Screen” results in a faster replacement process because fewer steps are involved in the entire process. You’d simply remove your old/broken screen and install the new screen in its place. You can find the replacement guide we have for that part here.
I hope this helps!
