Welcome Simone to the iFixit Moderation Team!

Benvenuto @simone_i !

We’ve been watching many fixers in the past months, and his multilingual contributions and interactions stood out! So after several rounds of peer-approvals, as well as having internal discussions at iFixit, we offered him a moderator position and are thrilled that he accepted! As a native Italian-speaker, he will focus on the Italian-speaking Forum.

We are very happy (and fortunate) to have him onboard.

As our amazing repair community grows, it has become more and more apparent that we need a larger moderator team to help take care of the site. Adding Simone to the team is the beginning of growing the global moderation team to healthy levels.

We aim to make sure that all areas of the site are being moderated, and thus in all languages spoken by our community, so we’ll be looking out for future mod prospects to recruit.

Thanks to all of the existing mods who helped make this decision.

We look forward to working together to help everyone fix every thing.

In the war for the right to repair, to fight against the entropy and e-waste :)

I totally agree with you on your thought :

"I believe it's great to learn how things work and how to fix them when they stop working, or how to update/repurpose them when they become outdated or unusable."
