Not bad, latest iRobot versions seems to be working ;-)
The iRobot deleted this user's questions and answers but not this answer, presumably because it had no phone numbers in it at the time although one was added later as a comment to the answer which was deleted, nor did it ban the user but maybe that's not what it can do just yet.
I deleted the answer so as to make them think nothing will stay posted.
They also modified this guide but I can't pick up any changes

What's the difference between the verified version and the unverified version of the guide as I can't see it?
The edit is supposedly removing the "summary image" next to the title, but it is still in both versions

@jayeff Looks to me like it's just being moved above the title. I don't think there is any visible difference

Initially I noticed it had been edited by one of the spammers who have been targetting this forum for a few weeks now and couldn't figure out what they'd done or even why they decided to edit the guide given what else they've been doing

Looking into this, I found a bug associated with the spammers account so I won't wipe it out yet, but I will once the issue is documented.

Looks like they were already banned. I just went ahead and cleaned up their content. Thank you :)
These somehow got past the iRobot Same spam as the ones before the "fix". Have banned and deleted.
4308710 This user also has a guide that needs deleting.
It is interesting to note that with the 2nd and 4th users listed above, they had posted spam multiple times and this was picked up and deleted by the iRobot but their last few posts seemed to have been missed entirely. Persistence must pay off it seems as eventually some get through untouched.

Some of these types of posts seem to be a precursor to posting spam. Sometimes a spam post by the same user appears some minutes after the gibberish post or the gibberish post will be edited with spam, or have a spam answer associated with it.
The iRobot may have to start deleting these types of posts as well

4312968 All the answers/comments by this user were spam deleted. I'm not sure why as they all appeared to be OK. There were a couple of comments that were identical but they were in different questions and basically still relevant to the question. I reopened all the answers/comments by this user so as to restore their lost rep points. Hopefully they weren't being discouraged by having all their posts deleted earlier

Imho, the questions we should ask ourselves is
1) Is he trying to direct traffic to an external commercial site on purpose?
- He sais that "After a little search I found a software that seems to do the job. Search for itoolab. I don´t know what the software does exactly so no guarantee from my side." - so that doesn't really fullfill the criteria in my eyes.
2) Is the information he's giving irrelevant to the problem?
Well I don't think so: While it might be incorrect, it could be a valid discussion and is corrected by your comment underneath.
So I wouldn't say it's necessarily Spam, and from the other answer that he'd given back in 2012 I wouldn't assume a general negative intent, but I'm open to your view on whether we should re-activate the posts or not?

Thank you for your point of view. For me it is fine as it is now, no need for a reactivation of the post, as it has been a "historic" question from 2016 initially.
The tool itself might help in some situations, but the prior answer, that a re-registration of the home-button is mandatory, is completely wrong. So my trigger-level for spam is dropping very fast if i read such tipps and hints for software which has to be paid for ;-)
