They look like they're practicing adding code to our site to add more spam in the future. Their profile is banned now. :)

@amber Can you please ban 4594419? They responded to 10 questions with the EXACT same answer within 1 hour. Also, the website they link, osamsung.com, seems to be a lookalike domain which links to software which is NOT provided by samsung, and which may be malware.
Thanks!

Thanks again!

2492099 has answers that seem AI generated.

While they *could* be AI generated, Albert has been answering questions since 2018, back when ai was kinda terrible. While I do agree that the sheer amount of answers is a bit suspicious, it could also just be how their schedule works, with them being extremely active every so often, as opposed to semi-active frequently.

You're not wrong that they seem to be AI. Do their answers appear to be wrong or malicious? I've peaked at a few and they seem to be okay troubleshooting suggestions.
As this is an older account with activity asking questions and answering over the years I don't want to outright ban/wipe their account.

Answer is likely AI generated, and is largely incorrect. The only areas of accuracy is in relation to the toner (checking the toner, print check). All of the rest of it is not relevant, or very unlikely to do anything.

Thanks for the heads up, @nick! Let's keep an eye on them.
I think your reply was perfect and now that they know we're paying attention to that level of detail, let's give them the opportunity to get better.

@amber Yeah that defect is almost exclusively cheap AF compatible junk, that’s why I called out their answer.
That’s what we call a cheap fix you will probably win fixing if you’re comfortable with some risk and the price matches the risk, and keep your mouth shut. AI has its place, but mainly with assisting things like avoiding duplicate questions by nudging the poster to look at a similar issue.

@shingle that sure looks like a "getting ready to Spam" setup. Follow the link left in the profile and you will not be surprised to find, what looks like a fake Call-Center Spammer. I say we delete the answer as Spam and let TPTB take care of the user.
by oldturkey03
@shingle and @oldturkey03, it's a whole nest of connected spam accounts. I'll clear them all out. Thank you!!

I assume you probably want to keep this kinda stuff under your own buckets.
I did not hash either. but regardless, a suspicious change that I felt should not go unnoticed - other user contributions seem legitimate.

Thanks @someaspy, I went ahead and denied it. Let us know if you see anything similar again.
