What is the purpose of the Software section
What is the purpose of the Software section? I thought iFixit was just for repairing stuff.

It’s a catch 22 — always has been. We don’t do software for the sake of software but we also need it to do some repairs. The rule is it has to be useful for repair, not just a customization tutorial or an OS installation guide.
