PowerBook G4 1-1.67 GHz 17" A1085 - playing games

Hi to all from Austria,

I got this PowerBook with nothing around (no dvd´s, no cd´s), installed MacOSX 10.4 Tiger. I have a lot of games from my older Mac´s they only run under 9.0 or lower! What can I do to play all the games on this laptop (asking for my little grandchilds)

Hi, You need to install OS9 for "classic" support--your computer will not boot into OS9. Check the install disk you used to install Tiger for additional installs to load OS9. You must have loaded the OS9 drivers when you installed Tiger. Link provided to the Apple guide on installing classic. If you don't have the disk you will need to buy a RETAIL copy to do the installs. Good luck.
