please do something about deleted answers
yesterday, i wrote the first answer on this topic: CLICK
today i got my "new response" mail with the other responses and wondered why my answer is gone, i thought of the "old" system problem - you wrote something and it's not there until you write the next answer in this topic - so i tried to write something and got my "you already answered..." message - i tried to update my answer and got the text shown on the screenshot below.
surely the answer was not that well "designed" - but it was correct so why was it deleted?
that's something i don't understand
deleting should be used to remove offensive or spam posts - not to delete correct answers - on what grounds ever
there should be a function that shows who did it and there should also be a statement why it was deleted.
"The community has complete control over the content on Answers. Answers is collaboratively managed by people just like you."
sounds good, but without a proper "documentation" it will become pointless.
i understand that downvoting is anonymus - but deleting shouldn't - it's a form of censorship and i think that everybody should know why his answer was deleted
Is this a good question?
