Feedback on a second "big" guide?

Since wtiting my first real guide a month ago, I have since put together yet another one from a project I planned on abandoning due to partially damaged hinges. Well, this was done because I was supposed to work on my mom's laptop but I need to get permission first. Since I had to test my method of dealing with thermal paste, I used my laptop I really don't care to anyway. This is why I finished this guide.

In case you're wondering, this is a laptop repair guide regarding thermal paste. I have been meaning to do this but the hinges stopped me. Well, I got it done despite the hinge issue at this point because as I said I had to test the approach I use for laptops on something I can care less about if it fries.

Well, here's the laptop in question I worked on. I'll add people by request if you want to see it if I already didn't.

Right now I have it limited to oldturkey03 and Master Techs for limited review. Once I get a pass on it I will lift this restriction.

EDIT as of 3/3/15

Made one of the first edits. It isn't ready for public viewing yet and needs a lot more work. It has been cleaned up and revised but I need to change a lot of stuff and correct incorrect wording.

3/4/15 edit

Fixed steps 1-12, excluding step 10.

3/5/15 edit

Added a picture to step 13, changed pictures in step 14-28, excluding 2 pictures on step 17 and 19-21

Nick, identify the parts like I've never seen this machine (which I haven't) you assume to much. The pictures are to far away, are these torx or phillips, how long are they? Get close with your photos after doing a pan. I'm lost after just looking at the first two steps and I'm a tech.

This laptop is based on Phillips screws. This isn't an Apple. The reason is the 4:3 crap here and the fact my camera can(and often will) struggle up close. However, it was 50.00 open box. The problem is I can go up close and down it out with a flash or go back and lose it. I can't win in many cases. If I try to use the other camera I have to crop it and lose stuff and may have a similar problem.

This is not a excuse. The other problem is one I'm trying to cope with over time and there is where when I do a repair like rip a laptop down to the motherboard it's easy to show but when I have to explain it the main trouble lies with explaining it. This is why I often take my sweet time with these. I usually need it.
