Problems with editing comments.

The last couple of days when I edit a comment it sometimes leaves the original comment even if I just add a spelling or punctuation change.

Answered! View the answer I have this problem too

Hmm. We've had some caching issues recently, this might be related. We're currently working on fixing up comments, hopefully this will be addressed with that code change.

If it happens again please link us to the comment you thought you changed.

Ah, it's probably a javascript issue. I think things are fine on the backend, it's just a display bug when you change text. We aren't removing the "old" text on the page when you update the comment, just adding the "new" text after it. Refreshing the page will fix the text you see and do no harm.

Thank you for helping us track it down! Hopefully we'll have a fix out soon.
