Would it be possible to remove the part about drying the device in rice in the guide https://www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Electronics_...

in section 8. I think we have had enough discussion on the rice topic to say its of no use. otherwise its a valid guild to recommend

Totally agree. I think we made it a combined effort many years ago to write it. It was meant for all those water damaged iPhone 3G and 3GS. Things have rapidly evolved and we all learned that rice is useless. Thanks for pointing this out.
