So I got the new tech kit, and noticed the extension for the screw drive does not have a magnet to hold the bit in and is missing the metal clip that is supposed to be there to hold the bit? What's the point of an extension that drops the bit when you go to use it?
Are you by chance not pushing the bit into the socket all the way? Our 150mm Flex Extensions are friction-based, so you need to push the bit inward with a small amount of force until you hear an audible "click" sound. If that's not working for you, you may have a defective Flex Extension. Just let me know if that's the case, and I can help!

Not sure what your asking but of your asking about the extension and what it does, it allows it to fix in really odd and obscure tight places that the screwdriver cant fit into. I've never used it in my life as I've never found a use for it and i probably wont.

I know what an extension does, what I'm saying is there is a magnet in the actual screw driver to hold the bit in, there is not one in the extension causing the bit to fall out, but they have this slot for a clip that's supposed to hold the bit but there is no clip there so again the bit just falls out..
Did you put the extension i the screwdriver? Im not with my kit so i cant check, but the screwdriver might give it its magnetic properties. But what does it really matter? If you can get the screw out thats all that matters. But when i get home ill check and see if I have similar results. As for a clip? I dont think i had one either, and considering that i didnt have one you probably dont get one and the slot is there for some other purpose
