Killing the Easter Bunny
I’m going to grab the title before Bill O’Reilly uses it.
It’s post Easter and i just got in my shipment from Russell Stover of six solid 7oz Dark Chocolate Easter Bunnies. At half price of course.
It’s spring time and great fresh strawberries are also on sale.
This equals chocolate covered strawberries!
So I need to melt the chocolate then dip the strawberries.
I’m questioning whether to use the microwave and a Pyrex container or a double boiler or something else to melt in.
Also any advice on preparation of the berries. Seems like I had a hard time getting the chocolate to stick well last time I did this. How deep to dip, do I double dip? Should the berries be cold or room temperature? Do i need to add anything to keep the chocolate from changing colors or becoming tacky?
Also what about storage? Any advice on decorations?
Is this a good question?
