That's an excellent question!
The batteries that we do sell on our Australian store were shipped directly from our Suppliers. We only have a limited number of products on the Australian store, as you’ve seen, but we have been adding more every few months so there’s a good chance we’ll begin selling Samsung batteries straight out of our Aussie store soon. At this time, though, we are unable to ship batteries from our US store to international customers as per lithium-ion battery regulations like Mayer mentioned.

aussie store doesn't have the battery I need
I'd try to get it out of China. New US regulations on shipping batteries has stopped all but ground deliveries. But you might contact the iFixit Australian store and they may be better able to know of a good supplier.
aussie store has a very limited choice... I have no drama ordering parts from china through ebay, just be prepared to wait 4-6weeks.
