It appears as though the OP has accepted their own answer as the Chosen Solution but someone has voted for it in Answers Moderation to be switched to a question, which is obviously wrong as it is the accepted answer to the question in the post and not a new question.
How can it be cleared from the Answers Moderation page but seemingly left as the Chosen Solution given that’s what the OP decided to do? Also can it be done by a moderator and not by the admin.
My workaround method would be to switch the Chosen Solution to a comment and then back to an answer and then accept the answer again which should clear the Moderation page but there must be an easier way. Can the moderators be given another power for the Answers Moderation page to simply delete moderation requests like this?

Hi @jayeff! It looks like since you've posted this, there are no longer any votes for this post to be switched to a comment. If the votes were still there I'm not entirely certain they can be removed by a moderator—as an admin, I have the ability to click a red "X" to remove the moderation votes. If you cannot see the "X," I assume it's only an admin ability. I appreciate your request for this feature though! I'll talk it over with the iFixit team here and see if we're able to make something like this happen.

My mistake ;-(
Turning on my "super powers" in Moderation, allowed me to delete the moderation when clicking on the red cross.
I haven't used the super powers for a long time as they weren't working even after requests to admin, but it seems that they are now, so all's good.

Can the 2 comments at the bottom of this guide be added to this question please so as to remove the request from the Answers Moderation page? I don’t think that I can do it with the options that I have available
If it passes through as per the request to move then it will end up as a new question with no relevance to the original question asked as a comment in the guide.

Hi @jayeff, sorry for the delay on this one. I tried to create a new question and merge them but it deleted the answers that the author of the Troubleshooting page gave. I think for now we're just going to let them communicate there. I know it's not ideal or how it's supposed to be done but students don't usually come back to try and help and we don't want to discourage him either. Sorry I don't have a better solution at this point. Thanks again!

It is more than likely spam, it looks pretty spammy but after talking to my co-workers I think we should watch the account and see if they post again. We don't have enough for an outright ban yet but we'll watch and wait.
