Cannot ask my question

Hello dear community moderators.

Please, I would like to ask you. A few minutes ago, I registered. I am trying to ask my first question-issue. I write title and issue description, I choose a device, but, tapping on “Preview Your Question” button, nothing happens. I cannot ask. This is my first problem.

Also, my second problem is that the problem I have is about my tablet Chuwi Hi9 Air. There is no such tablet on devices box. I choose a random tablet which of course I would mention on description that it is not my device. But, even with this random device, I cannot upload the question. In such case, that someone wants to ask about a device not in devices box, what shoud he/she do?

Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to hear you’re having trouble posting your question. Since you were able to successfully ask this question here in the Meta forum, you likely already know that there is a distinction between “Preview My Question” and “Post My Question.” When you click “Preview My Question,” you will be able to review your text before you post it publicly. When you’re satisfied with your question, you can publicly post it using the “Post My Question” button. If you’re clicking the correct button and still having issues, can you add a screenshot of what you’re experiencing? Are you receiving any error messages when attempting to post? Also, let us know what device, operating system (and version), and browser (and version) you’re using. Hopefully with all of that information, we can pinpoint the issue!

As for your second question, if your specific device doesn’t appear when you’re writing out your question, you can choose a broader category. In this case, you can select “Windows Tablet” or “Android Tablet,” depending on which one your device uses. Our staff can always recategorize the question later on if we find that it fits better in another category.

Dear Metas, thank you for your answer. It is totally helpful, and with it, I found the solution. It has to do with browser I was working with. I changed it to work now on Firefox (updated to last update), and now everything works perfect.

I just posted a similar question. Tried Safari and Chrome. The question I asked had BOLD formatting in it. When I got rid of it, I could preview and then post, no problem.
