Fully translated pages showing up as not fully translated

Hey, I translate pages on iFixit very often, but I keep running into an issue whenever I try to find new pages to translate: "Phantom Translations". In case you don't understand, what I mean is that fully translated pages are still showing up in the lists of pages that have not been fully translated. Usually, these "Phantom Translations" show up as ~90% translated while viewing the lists. And no, I don't mean pages that have untranslated prerequisites or anything, I mean completely translated pages. I have several examples of this:

  • PS4 Motherboard, Disk Drive, Thermal paste, and fan replacement (EN->FR)

I have no idea what to do. I'm so confused. Please help, this is driving me insane. I've tried everything I can think of. I'm on the edge, and I'm looking down (and all can I see are "unfinished" translations). I'm starting to turn into my stock image profile picture. Hurry before it's too late.

Hi @shingle, thanks for reaching out! This is a weird bug we've been battling against as of late and each example of it helps us get closer to squashing it. @claire17 will be able to give you a little more guidance on it and her and I will work together to fix this for your translations.

Hi @shingle! Thanks for addressing the issue. Yes, it's quite a tough one!! For now, you can try to do a minimal change in the translation of the problematic guides (like changing a comma to a point or one word to a synonym) and they should be removed from the Translate list. It already happened for the guides you've mentioned but feel free to do the trick or inform us if you find new ones.

Hi @vauweh!

It looks like https://de.ifixit.com/Anleitung/MacBook+... has unapproved translations: https://de.ifixit.com/Patrol/Anleitung/1.... I think that's why it hasn't been marked as translated. If we approve the translations that are sitting in the patrol, the issue you're talking about should go away. @mariaparker could you do that and double-check?
