I'm not leading, just following in the footsteps of those who were here before me and who may still be here on ifixit. They are the ones providing me with the inspiration to keep at it for a while longer.

It seems so easy to quantify your contributions in terms of rep points (wow!!) and helpful answers (WOW!!!), but the truly great thing is to have someone as part of the community who is as committed as you. I don't think that I will ever beat @oldturkey03 or even get close to catching him, not that I'm trying to anyway.
He has a 5 year head start over me on ifixit and I think that he's more than a 5 years younger than I am as well.
Plus the fact that he knows a lot more than I do anyway. ;-)
