@jayeff, are you talking about the @irobot65169?
That's the one.
It shows up as "iRobot" on a page just like ifixit's spam robot e.g. see this page which makes it confusing as normally I wouldn't check anything that's authored by iRobot as I would assume it's done by the ifixit one.

Not spam but they are putting short, unhelpful answers out. The one I linked is flat out wrong and they relied on the chassis MY for that answer. I ended up jumping in on that one because of the original being so terribly wrong that I wanted to get the air cleared ASAP.

@nick, thanks for posting this. Right now, let's continue to keep an eye on them. If you catch an answer that is blatantly wrong, go ahead and comment if you know what the correct answer is. At the moment, although it's low quality, it's still an effort, so I'm leaning towards giving the benefit of the doubt.
@krisrodriguez normally I don't take the wheel (pun not intended) but the OBD1 answer was bad enough I felt I had to stop the misinformation.
@nick, I completely understand. If you come across any more answers that are incorrect or just carelessly spreading misinformation, please let me know and I’ll reach out to the person to see what’s going on.

@nick, same goes for this one—I get that their answers might not be the strongest, but it seems like a fair attempt. I’ll keep an eye on it and see what else they contribute. If you come across something clearly copy/pasted from AI and posted with the intent to mislead, let me know and I’ll follow up with them.

@vauweh, can you give me a bit more context? I agree the question is a little suspicious—anyone trying to bypass activation lock raises some red flags. That said, the comment you linked seems like a reasonable way to remind the OP that if they don’t have access to the original owner, they probably shouldn’t have the device. At least, that’s how I read it. Do you see it differently?

@vauweh, I've gone ahead and banned them. I didn't delete their content, but just banned them to see if they reach out. I'm hoping they just don't know the rules and will reach out to ask about the ban. If they do, I'll give them a rundown of the community guidelines and set them free again. Thank you!

Could the following users IP address be checked please?
Since May 14th the users below have all basically asked the same question i.e. washing machine noisy during spin cycle. The models vary between Whirlpool and Maytag.
I answered the questions posted by the separate group of 5 users at the bottom, with no response from the OP at all.
I consider the rapid increase in the number of questions with exactly the same problem in such a short period of time, is too coincidental. Either it is a student group practicing or perhaps a service person trying to gain knowledge. I don't know.

I went ahead and ran the IP check, and it confirmed your suspicions. The accounts appear to be coming from the same source, so I’ve removed their content and banned them. We’ll see if they reach out, but for now, it’s handled.
Really appreciate you catching this early—this definitely had the potential to turn into a bigger moderation headache. Thanks again for keeping such a sharp eye on things!
