Possible bug in Answers?

Just wondering if there's a problem in Answers, when I log in to the forum and then select my account, i.e. select Notifications, the page open almost immediately but when I then select the Activity page it can sometimes take 10+ seconds for it to appear. Once you have accessed the Activity page and then select any other option i.e. Reputation, Notifications etc (which also open almost immediately) and then after they have opened, go back to Activity it loads almost immediately

The problem happens regardless of the time i.e. at first I suspected due to the time difference (+15 hours) between ifixit and me that I might be striking the servers doing maintenance etc i.e. 10p.m. - 6a.m (PST USA) but it is too prolonged for that I think (unless they have a lot to do ;-)

The problem doesn't occur at all on meta.

Hey Jayeff! This happens because 1) You have a LOT of site history; 2) We cache the data, but the cache expires after several hours. So the first time you hit the page, it's populating the cache from the database. After that, it's fast. Until the cache expires and we start over.

We'll take a look at this and see if we can optimize the queries for folks with larger histories.
