rj713, good to hear from you. See if this will work for you. Go to your user profile. Above your avatar you should have two tabs <View> and <Edit>, click on <Edit>. On email settings, uncheck the "Automatic reply and answer notification". Hope this helps.

That doesn't work. I've got it unchecked and it still happens in my case.

In my case also--everything unchecked but still receive them. Thanks for the try.

Follow-up I found it was checked on Meta. I've unchecked it and will let you know if it works.

It happened to me here too. I have it unchecked and it still did it. It must happen when you answer a question. Been like this for years.

Still receiving with all boxes unchecked.

Unchecking that box in your member profile page on both iFixit and Meta should take care of it.

We want to make this notifications more useful! We've been brainstorming a lot of ways of improving them internally, but I'm interested in hearing what all of you think.

Our initial thoughts are to have a new notification item in the menu so you can find out if you've got an accepted answer right away, rather than waiting for the nightly email. We're also talking about letting you choose the frequency of emails — so you could get a daily or weekly digest, for example.

What would make it easier to stay in touch with people's responses to your work? Let us know!

Frequency isn't a bad idea. That could be good for when I'm dealing with Dell, and I need to keep the iFixit eMail to a minimum if I have to keep it on, or turn it off while it gets done.

Still receiving with all boxes unchecked.

Still have the problem Kyle. My temporary solution is to automatically delete the email without reading. Waiting for your improvements. Ralph
