I was a former certified firearm instructor, so anything I post should not violate any BTAFE rules, though it will be the individuals responsibility to insure they comply with their own State and Local laws.
I am a little confused as to why an article on changing the finish on a gun would not be relevant. It does not take a genius to apply Guncoat, but for a novice a tutorial may prove invaluable, especially if it involves more complex finishes such as digital camo, or the finishes that require some initial surface prep and heat curing. Since Duracoat and Guncoat both become harder with use, they can greatly extend the life and serviceability of a gun, not to mention the coating is self lubricating for the most part. Minimizing friction and giving excellent protection to metal and polymer alike.
Besides, who WOULDN'T want to do this to their carry piece?
PS. Fully Auto firearms are legal, if you obtain the proper Class III permit from the BTAFE first. But even if I knew how, I'm not about to post publicly how to convert semi-auto to fully-auto. :)
Right now more interested in things like making slings, holsters, and grip aids.
Thank you for your quick and helpful reply!
