Touch screen repair failed. What to do with two perfectly good parts?
I have an iPhone 5c with a touch screen that only works right after being turned on and eventually fails. I bought the excellent iFixit display assembly replacement and it works identically to the OEM part. This is the common problem people are reporting in which the digitizer works for a few minutes and then fails.
My touch screen repair failed because the phone itself is faulty.
My question is, what is the best thing to do with a perfectly good iFixit part and a perfectly good OEM part? Does iFixit take back both parts for credit? I have no use for them now, and I hear that used OEM displays are more valuable than new replacement parts, does iFixit buy those back for their A- and B-stock?
Is this a good question?
