Hi @jayeff, thank you! I think the last post is helping but they are also technically breaking the rules. I will talk to Amber when she's back so she can reach out and let them know they can't post links in answers or in guides etc.

There are a lot of users just posting answers with links in this question which do not relate to the question but suggest alternative apps to use.
Scroll down the page and you’ll soon start to see all of them. Checked a couple and they have already been moderated previously as spam, so perhaps they should all go.

Hi @ambertaus ,
Came across this user who complained about their posts being deleted. I can’t see anything wrong with them except the bold type and the users ID tag. (innuendo?)
This is the user 4026709 and this is an answer where I can moderate and re-open the deleted posts and then remove them as duplicates, to restore the rep points and clear them out but it comes back as deleted and the rep points have not been restored but are still deleted.
This method worked on a lot of the other iRobot? deleted posts by this user.

Hmmm. That's a weird one, @jayeff. I'm not sure why it kept getting re-removed. I went through and re-opened everything, deleted his duplicates, and made sure his reputation was restored. I don't love his handle... I'll think about that one.

FYI, I deleted this question because I think that it was set up for a spam answer, possibly by the same person.
This is based on that the user ID # of the person who asked the question 4027823 is so very close to the user ID # of the person who answered it 4027822 and that the question and answer were posted within 23 seconds of each other.
Too coincidental, methinks.

I agree! Their user emails are identical with one digit of difference. Sneaky, but not quite sneaky enough. I'll be looking into these accounts deeper this afternoon. I feel like they warrant a full sleuthing. I'll let you know when I'm done!
This one actually didn't take too long. It was just these two accounts that were connected. They've been banned. Thanks @jayeff!

Alright- took some time looking into their stuff. I think they did a good job at disguising their spam, but I'm not convinced. Removed.

All cleared up. I cleared and banned all 5. For the latter 2, I felt that it was a voting ring and their questions/answers appeared staged for reputation farming.

There's a bunch of spam in the thread below starting from Aug. 16th 2021 through September. Wish there was a "Report Spam" button, it would make it a lot easier and quicker to keep these spammers at bay.

@billant Thanks for bringing these to my attention! I'll get on cleaning up this page.
Once you gain 30 reputation on iFixit, you'll be able to! There's a dropdown on the top right of each Answer that says "Options." After you click on it, you'll see one labeled "Moderate." From there, a window will open and you'll be able to flag a post as spam.
