The French-speaking section of iFixit has apparently a non-certified secure connection (check https://fr.www.ifixit.com/Guide with Firefox latest to see it in action).

Our certificate is current, and you're perfectly secure.
The issue is loading https://fr.www.ifixit.com/Guide instead of https://fr.ifixit.com/Guide We have a wildcard SSL cert for *.ifixit.com, but that doesn't cover *.*.ifixit.com.
I'm not sure how you got to fr.www.ifixit.com, and I'll look into it. We should just be redirecting anyone that somehow ends up at a double subdomain to the correct URL.

James, I confirm that Nick is right: the issue is still there (meaning when accessing https://fr.www.ifixit.com/Guide from France). What about simply removing this way to access the guide? (https://fr.ifixit.com/Guide works perfect and makes more sense IMHO.)
When you change languages, you should be redirected to the correct subdomain (eg fr.ifixit.com) instead of the previous incorrect one (fr.www.ifixit.com), so you shouldn't be ending up on https://fr.www.ifixit.com/Guide unless you're clicking links from or reloading an old page.

The problem lies with expired security certificates, or linking from the US side in this case
Loads fine thru the address tab, and not linking it
